Aspen Snowmass Produces A 'Non Skier's Guide'
Whether taking some time off the mountain on your next holiday, or simply travelling to the resort as a non-skier, Aspen Snowmass has endless activities to entertain every type of traveller. Outdoor Adventure
Snowmobiling: Adventure beyond Snowmass’ slopes and check out the magnificent winter backcountry of Aspen Snowmass, the striking Maroon Bells and the hills above Lenado on a guided snowmobile tour. T-Lazy-7 Ranch offers three snowmobile experiences, including the scenic two-hour Maroon Bells tour to North America’s most photographed peaks. Tours from £190 per person.
Breathtaker Alpine Coaster: Located on Snowmass, the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster takes riders through a mile of forest on an elevated track at speeds of up to 28mph. Activity passes are available for £38 per person, which includes a two-hour session with access to tubing and the Alpine Coaster.
Snowshoeing: Those wishing to explore the mountains but not on two skis can join a two-hour guided snowshoeing tour with a knowledgeable Naturalist from Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES). Available in both Aspen and Snowmass, weave in and out of spruce and fir forests as you take in the majestic vista views and learn about the local wildlife, tracking, mountain ecology and winter habitats.
Ice skating: Located at the heart of the new Snowmass Base Village, guests can enjoy the popular outdoor ice rink which opened last season, offering free skating and rentals. Open daily from 12-9PM.
Arts & Culture
The Aspen Art Museum: The Aspen Art Museum is a non-collecting institution presenting the newest, most important evolutions in international contemporary art. Its innovative and timely exhibitions, education and public programs, immersive activities and community happenings actively engage audiences in thought-provoking experiences of art, culture and society.
Aspen Historical Society Tour: Actively preserving and passionately presenting Aspen’s history, the Aspen Historical Society offers a number of insightful tours: the Historic Pub Crawl through Aspen’s historical haunts (including Red Onion and the J-Bar in Hotel Jerome); Fireside Chats at The Little Nell; and the History Coach Tour in downtown Aspen in an electric car.
Wheeler Opera House: Since 1889, the Wheeler Opera House has been Aspen’s community performance venue, with concerts, movies, festivals, lectures, community events and opera on offer to the public. The venue has previously hosted The Eagles, Jerry Seinfeld, Oprah Winfrey and Sheryl Crow.

Yoga at Aspen Shakti: Offering six different types of classes unique to the Shakti method, Aspen Shakti provides a range of in-studio, in-home or hotel, and on-mountain experiences. During the winter, visitors can head to the Sundeck for mountaintop yoga to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit.
St. Regis Remède Spa: Located at the Five-Star St. Regis Aspen Resort at the base of Aspen Mountain, Remède Aspen Luxury Spa offers an exceptional experience for each and every guest. There are a variety of customised treatments available and those who experience a spa treatment can enjoy complimentary access to all Remède areas, including a newly refreshed oxygen lounge, steam caves, cold plunges, hot tubs and fitness centre.

Snowcat dinners – Lynn Britt Cabin & Cloud Nine Bistro: Embark on a snowcat after lifts close and visit two of the most iconic dining spots in Aspen Snowmass: Cloud Nine Bistro on Aspen Highlands and Lynn Britt Cabin on Snowmass. Hosted on multiple nights through the winter season, visitors can enjoy a four-course meal with live music at either of the venues with picture-perfect mountain views. On Wednesdays, Lynn Britt Cabin also hosts a family-friendly chuckwagon dinner, with hot cider and live entertainment.
The Little Nell: Home to two iconic restaurants and three bars, The Little Nell, Aspen’s only Five-Star, Five-Diamond hotel, offers world-renowned chefs, bartenders, and sommeliers ready to make your Aspen dining experience one to remember. Located at the base of Aspen Mountain, guests can enjoy fine dining at Element 47, serving local wagyu beef, house-made pastas and seasonal produce, complemented by the hotel’s award-winning wine programme. The Limelight Hotel Snowmass: Last season, the Limelight Hotel Snowmass opened its doors adjacent to Snowmass Mountain’s Elk Camp Gondola. Offering 99 guest rooms, the hotel is home to two spa pools and fitness centre, as well as Colorado’s largest indoor climbing wall.
