Arbor Snowboarding Introduces Plant-Based BioStrap
Arbor Snowboarding, the California-based action sports brand known for using innovative construction with sustainable materials to craft the highest-quality snowboards and bindings, has introduced the BioStrap, integrating plant-based materials into the brand’s range of snowboard bindings.
The new BioStrap features 64% Castor Bean Oil, a renewable resource offering unique physical properties that are able to replace traditional, often petroleum-based materials while performing in cold temperatures and maintaining flexibility and durability over time.
The new BioStrap is available today across Arbor’s flagship Cypress and Sequoia bindings, which are designed to take on the heaviest, steepest and deepest lines out there.
Arbor’s versatile, all-mountain Sequoia is designed for women and features a redesigned ankle strap to create a comfortable and lightweight lock that takes the place of harmful petrol-based plastics. The Sequoia features an asymmetrical highback and the exclusive System X Baseplate adapted for a smaller and more forgiving binding that prioritizes comfort and board control all over the mountain. For 2024 Arbor introduces the Sequoia Marie-France Roy Edition featuring a unique, tricolor design on the asymmetrical highback.
The freeride-focused Cypress is built for riders looking for more performance and stability on larger and rowdier runs all over the mountain. The Cypress features Arbor’s exclusive System X Baseplate with double the fiberglass, adding a lighter, stiffer, and more laterally supportive highback and a sturdy and streamlined outsole that translates into high-speed, big–mountain performance. New for 2024 is the Cypress Mark Carter Edition, a sharp duo-tone binding in beige and black.
