Anton Pletzer Celebrates 80 Years As A Cable Car Pioneer

On June 17, 2024, Councillor Anton Pletzer invited his cable car colleagues, representatives of the tourism association and his employees to a birthday get-together at the “Das Hohe Salve Sportresort” in Hopfgarten.

On the occasion of his 80th birthday, KR Anton Pletzer was ceremoniously presented with a gold-plated chairlift from the former lift system in Kelchsau.

The Hohe Salve cable cars and the Hohe Salve Region Tourism Association had the chairlift artistically redesigned by local artists Maria Birbamer Zott and Max Biembacher and given a fine gold plating.

This special honor is intended to express gratitude and recognition for his work as managing director of the cable cars, for over 50 years of his commitment as an official in the tourism association and for numerous other projects in the state of Tyrol. KR Anton Pletzer has made a significant contribution to the development and promotion of the cable cars and tourism in the region over the past half century and has thereby earned lasting merit.
