Antelope Butte Announces Updated Summer Events
After Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon’s announcement last week limiting public gatherings to 250 people to enable social distancing, the Antelope Butte Foundation board acted quickly and decisively to reimagine its summer events with extra precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and protect the health of its staff, volunteers and patrons.
The Big Horn REA Summer Concert Series will take place at Antelope Butte Mountain Recreation Area, featuring live music from some of the area’s finest musicians. The events are each limited to 250 attendees, and will be held on four Saturdays throughout the summer: June 27, July 18, August 8 and August 29, 2020. Big Horn REA is the Title Sponsor and Kennon Products is the Stage Sponsor. Saturday night camping is also available onsite, and reservations must be made online prior to the events. In addition to live music, the kickoff event on June 27 will also feature craft beer pours from local breweries, food trucks and chairlift rides. Tickets and campsite reservations must be purchased online in advance (no in-person ticket sales will be available).
These events give the opportunity to offer guests a more intimate musical experience while still having plenty of room to spread out. The combination of a beautiful mountain setting and live music is unbeatable, and the resort is thankful for sponsors, musicians, vendors, and the support and understanding of the amazing community. The previously planned Bighorn Mountain Music and Brew Festival and Antelope Butte Summer Festival have been cancelled for 2020, and anyone who already purchased a ticket can contact the office at 307-675-1110 for a credit or refund.
