New Snow Show For The North Of England
Chill Factore, Manchester and The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempstead are thrilled to announce the launch of Northern Snow, set to become the premier REAL SNOW event for Snowsports enthusiasts in 2024!

"Responding to the evolving landscape of snow shows and the public's access to them, Northern Snow will bring the excitement to the North of England at Chill Factore, Manchester. What's more, entrance will be completely free for the public!
"Northern Snow Show is a concept that came about last October when teams from Chill Factore in Manchester and The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead hosted a very busy stand in The National Snow Show 2023 at the NEC Birmingham.
"We love the Snow Shows and are regular exhibitors at the multiple events each year. We enjoy talking to Snowsports enthusiasts and Ski / Snowboard beginners about the benefits of our two indoor real snow slope centres. One in the South, just outside London and one in the North, near The Trafford Centre in Manchester featuring the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope.
"While talking to the organisers of the Snow Shows and other industry professionals about the changing landscape of events – events in general and specifically Snowsports events – it became clear that the 2024 calendar was going to be lighter than we would have liked. The team behind the National Snow Show Birmingham and The London Snow Show had decided to combine the two events into one London-based show in 2024, and there was no sign of an event for Snowsports fans further north. So, we decided to change that.
"We chatted it through with some of our partner brands, industry leaders and those that we’ve worked with on brand launch events or freestyle events at Chill Factore and The Snow Centre.
"Our pitch was simple: There is no consumer Snowsports show planned outside of London in 2024. Chill Factore in Manchester has three things that make it the perfect venue to put on a show for anyone that doesn’t fancy a trip all the way down to London:
"1. The venue is massive – the Beyond building is huge and already houses a number of winter sports brands, food and beverage outlets and leisure activities.
"2. Our amazing team – not only are our team used to hosting large-scale events at Chill Factore, but they’re also so pumped at being part of Northern Snow that we’ve had to calm them down on numerous occasions while we dot the i’s and cross the t’s.
"3. The 180 metre REAL SNOW main slope. A REAL SNOW beginner slope and our, fun for the whole family, Snow Park… featuring (you guessed it) REAL SNOW!
"Everyone we spoke to loved the idea! What better way than to launch the Winter Season for everyone, from the midlands up to Scotland, than with a Snowsports Show on REAL SNOW in Manchester!
"Northern Snow features the best in Snowsports and lifestyle brands, Snowsports organisations, Snowsports travel and holiday operators, plus equipment test opportunities on real snow, ski and snowboard lift passes and lessons on real snow and a big gathering of like-minded enthusiasts.
"We’re not aiming to compete with the size and scale of The London Snow Show – we don’t have that much space! What we do have is REAL SNOW, an experienced team and enough space to host 25-30 brands. We are working with a hand-picked, personally invited, group of dedicated Winter Sports brands to present Snowsports enthusiasts of the North of England, the Midlands, Scotland and Wales with something entirely new and entirely different! (Southerners invited too obviously)."
