Alpine French School Morzine Back Open For Business This Summer
As the UK Government travel restrictions start to lift, getting to the French Alps looks possible again this summer - Alpine French School are welcoming overseas visitors for its day camps in the mountain resort of Morzine.
French language school based in Morzine, has opened its doors for a summer program that includes day camps for kids with social distancing measures and increased hygiene protocols in place.
As travel restrictions to France from the UK open up, Alpine French School, based in the mountain town of Morzine, Just over an hour’s drive from Geneva Airport (approximately 9 hours driving from Calais), is opening for business and has already started to welcome both adults and children to its classes.
Classes and camps run in the Alpine French School centre right in the heart of Morzine. The new centre has been modified to ensure the health, well-being and safety of all students. Whilst the residential camps will not take place during 2020, day camps are running and accommodation is available through Alpine French School or other third party providers – currently there’s plenty of available accommodation in the area.
Summer 2020 courses that are running include:
- Morning French Lessons for children 6-17 years of age
- French Day Camps for children 6-17 years of age (morning French lessons, picnic lunch + afternoon activities)
- Family French Camps with French Intensive Courses in the morning for parents and children and the option of activities in French in the afternoon
- Adult French Intensive Courses
- Accommodation through Alpine French School is available in individual apartments or chalets, hotels and also apartments shared with other students.
Helen Watts, co-owner of Alpine French School, said: “Morzine is the perfect place for a summer holiday at this unusual time. We are in an area of France with a low population density meaning that social distancing comes naturally. The resort’s infrastructure, shops, bars, swimming pool, tennis club, restaurants and activity providers have been working hard to put in place health and safety measures to keep everyone happy and healthy during their time in Morzine. There are numerous outdoor options where social distancing comes naturally such as sunbathing and swimming in mountain lakes, hiking in the breath-taking Alpine scenery and dining in mountain restaurants”.
Alpine French School has introduced a free cancellation policy for all bookings in 2020.
Lessons are also available via Skype
