After A Successful Summer, Savoie Mont Blanc’s 112 Ski Resorts Are Looking Forward To Welcoming Visitors This Winter.
Winter after winter, the resorts engage in measures to protect the environment. New lifts consume less energy while also producing energy, new environmentally friendly means of transport are developed, and events are doing everything they can to limit their impact.
With new hotels and residences, as well as many renovations, the choice of accommodation in Savoie Mont Blanc is better than ever: there is a new Rocky Pop in Flaine, Hotel La Setaz in Valloire has been transformed into a 4-star hotel, Pralognan-la-Vanoise has its first 4-star hotel, le Val d’Isère has been completely renovated …The MMV group has launched Mountain Collection in small charming ski resorts like Combloux, Les Houches, La Rosière, Arc 2000, Peisey-Nancroix and La Plagne.
New activities are on offer such as some new zipwires and skywalks. Many resorts have new spas – and the natural spa of Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc organises a three-week post-Covid retreat to help with long Covid, stress linked to Covid and respiratory problems.
Several new restaurants are opening, including some excellent options for lunch in the mountains: Maya Altitude is a new restaurant on the slopes between Méribel and Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. La Folie Douce Val d’Isère has a new restaurant, at 2,400m. Le Bambini is a new Italian mountain restaurant in Megève.
