31st TFA Tourismusforum Alpenregionen Planned For Oberstdorf / Kleinwalsertal March 28th - 30th, 2022
From March 28th - 30th, 2022, The TFA led by Roland Zegg, will once again bring together decision-makers, makers and actors from the entire alpine mountain railway and tourism industry. And there is a novelty - the renowned specialist forum is venturing to Germany for the first time. But that's not all, the 31st edition will be held in two countries: in Oberstdorf (D) and the Kleinwalsertal (AT).
The 31st forum provides surprises. With Oberstdorf (D) and the Kleinwalsertal (AT) an exciting and dynamic two-country region will host. For the first time, the TFA TourismusForum Alpenregionen will be visiting Germany and Austria at the same time.
Oberstdorf is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the Bavarian Alps. The southernmost health resort in Germany offers tourists 200 kilometers of hiking trails in summer and is considered the Mecca for winter sports enthusiasts in winter. Because winter sports are at home in Oberstdorf. This is proven by the numerous international sporting events that regularly take place in Oberstdorf. With around 17,000 beds in a wide variety of categories, Oberstdorf can offer the right accommodation for every taste all year round. The 2.6 million overnight stays per year underline the attractiveness of Oberstdorf as a year-round destination.
The Kleinwalsertal, Austria's most enjoyable cul-de-sac, is located on the northern edge of the Alps in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg and can only be reached from Germany. Around 10,000 guest beds and 1.8 million overnight stays per year emphasize the strong tourism in the valley. 36 peaks up to a height of over 2,500 meters offer the best conditions in summer and winter for hiking, mountain tours and via ferratas, skiing and cross-country skiing as well as for ski tours or snowshoe trips. The credo in Kleinwalsertal is: "Experience nature consciously" - a strategic direction of the valley that has top priority, because authenticity, tradition and closeness to nature have always been a top priority.
The two-country ski region impresses with 130 kilometers of slopes, which are served by 48 lifts. This also includes the new lifts on the Söllereck and the new Nebelhorn lift.
"Oberstdorf and the Kleinwalsertal - a dynamic region full of surprises - I am extremely pleased that we can hold our 31st TFA here," said forum founder Roland Zegg.
Competent and full of energy - the recipe for success continues
Over the years, the TFA TourismusForum Alpenregionen has become a successful concept for inspiration, content and networking in the mountain railway and tourism industry in the German-speaking Alpine countries. No other specialist conference has established itself in this quality as a privately financed concept that is independent of associations and politics.
As soon as the winter season is over, the TFA is a fixed point every year in the calendars of executives from the mountain railway, tourism and leisure industries. Top destinations as the venue and a top-class program each attract around 200 decision-makers and entrepreneurs for a think tank break from everyday life.
Change destinations - the trademark remains. The high-quality international specialist forum continues to impress with its special and carefully selected speakers. Inspirations from outside the industry allow us to think outside the box and the presentations and panel discussions are complemented by an exciting and cheerful supporting program. Exclusive and practice-oriented insights into the forum tours as well as conviviality and networking during the evening programs round off the forum concept.
