29th General Assembly Of Eastern Swiss Association Of Cable Car Companies Held
At the 29th General Assembly in Elm, OSVS President Roger Walser will present the current business and a successful year for the association to the numerous representatives of the member companies. With traffic revenue of CHF 77 million, the Eastern Swiss cable cars can report a record result in 2023. The good result shows that the member companies offer an attractive range of services that is convincing both in the summer months and in the winter season. The regional association of Eastern Swiss cable cars is very well positioned and is moving into the future from a position of strength.
The Eastern Swiss training association for cable car apprentices has attracted media attention far beyond the region. Roger Walser emphasises once again that with the training association and the combined forces, trainees can be offered an attractive and high-quality apprenticeship and introduces two important people from the coordination office: Alessandro Borghi and Fabio Müller from Bartholet Maschinenbau AG.
In her presentation, Benedicta Aregger, Vice Director of the Swiss Cable Cars, focuses on the current issues being addressed by the Swiss Cable Cars at the national level. A key focus for 2025 is the comprehensive sustainability program (communication, water and energy management, and training and further education).
Martin Ebneter is stepping down from the board after eleven years due to a new direction. Marc Bodenmann, Head of Technology and member of the management of Luftseilbahn Jakobsbad-Kronberg AG, is elected as his successor.

Finally, Stefan Elmer, Managing Director of Sportbahnen Elm AG, will host the event and present the history of Sportbahnen Elm and the ambitious snowmaking project “FUTURO”.
