26th Int. Matteo Baumgarten Award – Application Deadline Is Approaching

The Matteo Baumgarten Award recognises athletes who strive to balance the demands of full-time study with their training and competition schedules.

Nominations are submitted through the athlete’s National Ski Association. Each nation may submit up to three nominations and athletes from the six FIS Olympic disciplines are eligible.

Interested parties should contact Dimitrije Lazarovski and applications can be sent directly at lazarovski@fisski.com until 28th February 2023.

The Award, now in its 26th year, is in honour of Matteo Baumgarten who tragically passed away at a young age. The winner will receive EUR 2,000 towards his or her studies and will be informed of their selection ahead of the presentation in spring 2023.
