Sunkid: Steinplatte Waidring Relies On Themed Sunny Stuff

The Steinplatte ski and hiking area (Austria) in the border triangle between Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria (Germany) is a certified family ski region and offers ideal conditions for an unforgettable winter holiday. With first-class infrastructure, top slopes and a variety of family-friendly offers, winter sports are an experience for young and old.

“Get in the gondola and head back to prehistoric times!” is the motto in Waidring. 200 million years ago, the primeval Tethys Sea was located here – exactly where the popular Steinplatte ski area is today. The consistent prehistoric theme and loving design of “Sunny Stuff” elements make both the ski school lessons and the first freestyle runs into exciting adventures.

In Waidring, the ski school and operators rely on the latest learning aids for a safe and fun skiing experience. The "Triassic Kinderland" is the perfect place for the first turns in the snow. To make it easy and exciting for the little ones to get started with skiing, Sunkid has created a children's land on the ski school grounds in the center of Waidring (at the Unterrainer Hausberg lift). A 100-meter-long magic carpet makes it child's play to get up before the little snow sports enthusiasts navigate around customized dinosaur obstacles from the Sunny Stuff portfolio.

The beginners' slope with wave track includes high-fives, entrance arches, turn-arounds and toucans - all individually designed in a dinosaur design. Tetris cubes and dinosaur-shaped benches on which the children can rest provide relaxation.

The Waidring ski school is enthusiastic about the new equipment and makes the lessons fun and entertaining. After the first successes in the "Triassic Kinderland", the "Triassic Funline" in the Steinplatte ski area awaits with many other exciting snow elements - for maximum fun and first freestyle experiences!

Whether you are a beginner or a little pro – with Sunkid equipment every ski course becomes an experience!
