Recall Update On ARVA NEO BT PRO

For over 40 years, ARVA has been designing avalanche safety equipment with a steadfast goal: ensuring maximum performance and reliability. Every product undergoes rigorous testing to exceed industry standards.

Recently, ARVA identified an isolated issue affecting certain NEO BT PRO devices and has been working in close cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to conduct a voluntary recall of the avalanche beacon.

As part of its commitment to consumer safety, ARVA is actively collaborating with the CPSC to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to protect users, proactively addressing the issue to ensure that all affected units are identified and remedied. To date, ARVA has received, inspected and updated nearly 95% of the devices sold at retail in the United States and 45% of the total units sold worldwide.

ARVA is following the CPSC’s Fast Track Recall process, which allows ARVA to efficiently notify consumers, retailers, and distributors while providing clear guidance on next steps. ARVA is dedicated to working alongside the CPSC to ensure a smooth recall process, including public awareness efforts and streamlined product returns or replacements.

To ensure user safety, ARVA and the CPSC are recalling all NEO BT PRO devices for inspection. If necessary, the device will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

All users can find return instructions on ARVA’s website and Voluntary Recall page, where the US Service Center will handle all product returns.

ARVA understands the inconvenience this may cause, especially during the Winter season. However, the safety of users is a top priority. The entire ARVA team has mobilized to ensure a quick and efficient repair process for every affected device.
