Pats Peak Hosts Annual Pond Skim Contest On Saturday, March 15, 2025
Pats Peak is set to host its highly anticipated Pond Skim Contest on Saturday, March 15, 2025. This lively spring tradition promises excitement for both spectators and participants as skiers and snowboarders attempt to glide across a man-made pond—some making it to the other side, while others take an icy plunge!
The event features prizes for Best Costume, Best Splash, and Best Skim, adding an extra layer of fun and creativity to the day.
Event Details:
- Registration: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM outside the Valley Lodge
- Contest Start Time: 1:00 PM
- Entry Fee: FREE - Participants must have a valid Valley Area Lift Ticket—purchased in advance at patspeak.com—or a Pats Peak Season Pass, and must wear a costume
- Limited to the first 100 participants
