The consulting agency, founded in 2018 by Ueli Hug and based in Sachseln in the canton of Obwalden, supports mountain railways and alpine destinations in the DACH region with strategic projects, customer experience management and innovation processes. New to the portfolio is interim management for tourism organizations. The expanded offering and focus on sustainability are made possible by the arrival of Martina Hollenstein Stadler. The experienced tourism expert will join Mounteco as a partner and managing director from April 1, 2025.

"Our vision is to transform alpine tourism into a sustainably successful experience area. It is already creating competitive advantages today and securing the long-term future of the industry. "Whether it's strategic repositioning or fine-tuning: the sustainable development of tourism depends on the optimal balance between the needs of the environment, society and the economy. That's exactly where we come in and pave new paths for success stories," says Martina Hollenstein Stadler happily. Mounteco takes the well-being of guests and the success of tourism businesses into account just as much as that of the locals, who should benefit from a value-creating region.
