Hauser Kaibling Officially Openes Styria's Most Powerful Chairlift

The new Kaiblinggrat 8-seater chairlift, the most powerful chairlift in Styria, has been officially opened on the Hauser Kaibling. With a capacity of an impressive 3,600 people per hour, the state-of-the-art facility sets new standards in comfort, efficiency and sustainability and marks an important milestone for both the Hauser Kaibling and the entire Schladming-Dachstein region.

Numerous guests, guests of honour and representatives from politics and business were warmly welcomed at the celebratory ceremony, which took place directly at the new mountain station. Hauser Kaibling management Klaus Hofstätter opened the ceremony together with managing director Dr. Maximilian Sampl.

Klaus Hofstätter emphasised in his welcoming speech: "It fills me with great joy to be able to officially open the new 8-seater Kaiblinggrat chairlift on the Hauser Kaibling today. With an impressive capacity of 3,600 people per hour, it is not only the most powerful chairlift in Styria, but also a milestone for the comfort and quality of our ski area. Since the start of the season on November 30, almost 100,000 enthusiastic skiers have benefited from this modern facility - and all without waiting times!

Dr. Maximilian Sampl: "The new cable car transports almost twice as many people as its predecessor, making Hauser Kaibling more than ever the perfect entry point into the 4-mountain ski area of Schladming. We are proud to offer our guests a first-class skiing experience and look forward to a great winter season!"

The celebration with musical accompaniment by the Haus im Ennstal market band, the ecumenical blessing by Dean Mag. Andreas Lechner and the first ride on the new 8-seater chairlift, brought a smile to all guests' faces and created a lively atmosphere.

The innovative cable car from Leitner scores with 68 LEITNER EVO premium seats, which are equipped with seat heating, weather protection hoods and individual footrests. A special highlight is the comfortable entry via conveyor belt with lifting table, which guarantees safety and comfort when boarding, especially for children up to 1.25 meters.

With its mountain station on the transmitter plateau, the Kaiblinggrat cable car is the most important feeder cable car. From there, the summit cable car takes you to the Hauser Kaibling summit (highest point of the 4-mountain ski area/2,015 meters), the natural jewel of the Kaiblingalm and the ski area connection to Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. Once you reach the top, the new mountain station in the look of the Italian design company Pininfarina from Leitner offers real passenger comfort thanks to the significantly wider station roof. A modern guidance system and new sanitary facilities round off the offer and guarantee a first-class experience for all guests.
