The 11th Annual Mothership Classic ski-a-thon was a success, raising over $168k for the High Fives Foundation, a Tahoe-based nonprofit on a mission to provide individuals with life-altering injuries with resources and a community to get back to their active pursuits of snowboarding, skiing, surfing, mountain biking and beyond.
Held on March 23rd, the annual event challenges participants to gather pledges, dress in their wildest outfits, and take as many fun laps in a day as possible on the KT-22 chair AKA “The Mothership.”

In addition to prizes and giveaways, title sponsor Arcade created a custom Mothership Classic belt for the occasion, with 100% of sales donated to support High Fives. Arcade was founded on the belief that belts could be designed to function better, last longer, and be more comfortable. Developed from the ground up with materials that are built to go everywhere and anywhere, each Arcade belt provides a custom fit, sturdy hold, and the right amount of flexibility to move with you. Love for our planet and the adventurous people on it is the spark that lights their fuse. They celebrate and protect the places and communities that are the fabric of an active, fun, and healthy life. Arcade is proud to partner with and support the High Fives Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Protect Our Winters, Save the Waves Coalition, and Big City Mountaineers
“While we’ve grown as a company in the past years, our focus on where we come from and desire to support local organizations that are doing amazing work remains. All of us here at Arcade believe in the mission and goals of the High Fives Foundation, and we absolutely love hosting the Mothership Classic every year to raise funds for their important programs while also having fun doing it. The event always brings together an incredible group of people and the amount raised speaks for itself. It’s an honor for all of us to help make this event happen and see the outcome,” said Kevin Walker, Director of Marketing, Arcade.
While the 2025 event is a wrap, you can support the work of the High Fives Foundation anytime by donating https://highfivesfoundation.org and by purchasing the 2025 limited edition Mothership Classic belt.
The High Fives Foundation is a Tahoe-based nonprofit on a mission to help people with life-altering injuries get back to snowboarding, skiing, surfing, mountain biking and beyond. Along with specialized grants, programs, and a cutting-edge facility called the CR Johnson Healing Center, the Foundation designs education around preventing life-changing injuries, and provides resources and hope if they happen. Formed as a way to "pay-it-forward" by the founder, Roy Tuscany, after his own recovery from a spinal cord injury, High Fives has helped nearly 500 athletes and veterans across North America since its inception in 2009.
