2025-26 Snowbird Season Passes Go On Sale

Amid deep March storms bringing some of the season’s best skiing and snowboarding, Snowbird is excited to unveil its 2025-26 season pass offerings. Highlights include the return of the popular Freeloader Pass program, which allows every Adult, Military or Senior 2025-26 Summit or Alta-Bird Passholder to gift one free season pass to anyone aged 18 and under, with no relation required.
The Snowbird Summit Pass goes on sale March 26, 2025—its earliest release date in resort history—and provides same-day access to current-season skiing and riding for new passholders. The Snowbird Summit Pass is eligible for an Ikon Base Add-On Benefit. The Alta-Bird Pass will be available early May, with additional details to follow. The Flex-5 Pass also goes on sale March 26, offering five days of skiing and riding during the 2025-26 season with no blackout dates at just $106 per day.
“We’re proud to launch our passes earlier than ever this year, giving our guests immediate access to some of the best spring conditions we’ve seen,” said Dave Fields, President and General Manager of Snowbird. “From the return of the Freeloader Pass and flexible payment options, this season’s lineup is designed to give more value, flexibility and fun for our passholders and their families.”
Early purchasers of the 2025-26 Snowbird Summit and Alta-Bird Pass will receive a variety of Early Bird Benefits. These include a complimentary night at The Cliff Lodge with an extended redemption deadline of December 18, two All-Day Activity Passes and two 50% off Fast Tracks. The Freeloader Pass, which provides a free youth pass with each qualifying adult pass, remains available as Snowbird looks towards growing the future generation of skiers and riders while acknowledging that families come in many shapes and sizes. Additionally, all 2025-26 passholders will receive a discount on both overnight and day Woodward Summer Camps. Snowbird is also introducing a new payment plan system through Affirm, which allows for more flexibility through payment schedules. Summit, Flex-5 and Freeloader passes purchased before May 14, 2025 will also include a $50 renewal discount if renewing or upgrading to a Summit Pass.
Additional passholder perks for Summit and Alta-Bird passes include unlimited 20% discounts on select Mountain School programs, rentals, logo merchandise and ski or snowboard repairs. Passholders will also receive a free UTA Ski Bus season fare, 50% off five Friends & Family lift tickets and 50% off lift tickets at all Mountain Collective resorts throughout the 2025-26 season.
Preferred Parking Passes for the 2025-26 season will be available to current passholders starting March 26 and to the public on April 15 for $1,299. As always, these passes provide access to premium parking at Snowbird. In addition to supporting free UTA rides, revenue from the Preferred Pass supports the expansion of carpool parking, adding spots for vehicles with three or more people, reducing the qualification from four to three people per vehicle since the 24/25 season, as well as incentives like the Canyon Carpool Club. Thanks to partners, carpoolers may also receive giveaways like breakfast burritos, backpacks and tires. Snowbird will continue to offer both paid reserved parking and free first-come, first-served options.
