Val d'Isere Highlights New Vallon Gondola
Nestling in the heart of the unspoilt sector of Le Fornet, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, winter 2024/25 will see the Vallon de l'Iseran welcome a state-of-the-art gondola lift. This environmentally-friendly redevelopment project features a host of benefits for users.
Skier’s comfort and safety first and foremost
- The new Vallon lift will be able to seat 10 passengers, instead of 6 previously, for a quick and easy journey to the Pissaillas glacier...
A limited impact on the natural environment
- The new gondola lift will follow the existing route, ensuring the balance of the wild flora and fauna is not disturbed.
- To return part of the mountainside to its natural state, 30 pylons from the old gondola lift will be removed.
- The resort is committed to transplanting the protected flowers that grow in the redevelopment zone.
