Valle Nevado Wraps Up One Of The Longest Ski Seasons In Resort History
Valle Nevado, South America’s premier ski resort, will wrap up its 2024 ski season this Sunday, October 20, after an impressive 143 skiable days—making it one of the longest seasons in the resort’s 36-year history.
Thanks to exceptional snow conditions and strong demand, the 2024 season was one of Valle Nevado’s most successful to date. Early season snowfall set the stage for a record-breaking start, allowing the resort to open ahead of schedule on May 31, with full daily operations commencing on June 7—two weeks earlier than planned. Throughout the season, Valle Nevado received nearly 23 feet of snow, which extended the season by an additional two weeks.
“This season has been a standout, and we owe much of our success to the hard work of our team and the ongoing support of our partners at Ikon Pass, Power Pass and Mountain Collective,” said Ricardo Margulis, General Manager of Valle Nevado. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this year one of the most memorable in Valle Nevado’s history.”
Looking ahead to 2025, Valle Nevado is preparing for another exceptional season with an exclusive Early Booking offer. Guests who book by November 15, 2024, can take advantage of discounts ranging from 20 percent to 50 percent on accommodations throughout the 2025 ski season. Now is the perfect time for North American skiers and snowboarders to plan their bucket-list trip to South America's premier ski destination and lock in the best rates on hotel packages for the upcoming season.
