Michelin Keys & New Management For Severin*s,

Severins*s - The Alpine Retreat in Lech, Austria, will begin the 2024/25 ski  season with a new Hotel Manager and Head Chef and the news of its recent award of two Michelin Keys.

Paul Gründemann is appointed as Hotel Manager of the boutique property following two years as Deputy Hotel Manager at the five-star WEISSENHAUS Private Nature Luxury Resort in Germany. With extensive experience in the hospitality industry, he will be responsible for upholding the excellent standards for which Severin*s is renowned while continuing to deliver  its superb guest experiences.

Upholding the hotel’s stellar dining reputation, Marius Pieper returns for his third season at Severin*s, now as Head Chef having been Sous Chef for two years there. He looks forward to  showcasing his passion for Austrian cuisine while drawing on inspiration from his recent experience as guest chef at The Legian Seminyak in Bali.

In recognition of Severin*s outstanding reputation in Austria, it has recently been awarded two Michelin Keys by the Michelin Guide, reinforcing the hotel’s exceptional reputation.

Located on the edge of the village, in the Stubenbach quarter of Lech am Arlberg, the hotel is a haven for winter sports enthusiasts with world-class skiing and hiking areas just a stone’s throw away. For thrillseekers, Lech is the only destination in Austria to enjoy heliskiing. There is superb downhill and cross country skiing, as well as snow-shoe hiking through ancient forests.
