TechnoAlpin Bigs Up Alpinal Pipe System For Easy Installation In Difficult Terrain

The ALPINAL pipe system is a complete system made of ductile cast iron that covers all the requirements of pipeline construction. The pipes and fittings were specially developed for use under challenging conditions and are particularly suitable for water supplies in the mountains and at high pressures.

A special feature of the system is that it is easy to lay without welding. Experience has shown that up to 100 meters can be laid per day, even in difficult terrain. The push-in joint technology means that the pipes can be laid easily, quickly and even by semi-skilled personnel. This is mainly due to the longitudinally force-locking NOVO-SIT and TIS-K connections, which combine a whole range of advantages. No concrete abutments are required for laying, and assembly is quick, easy and independent of the weather. Laying is carried out using an excavator and appropriate laying tools. Nevertheless, the ALPINAL system is designed for very high pressures of up to 100 bar.

The push-in socket connections also allow for bending of up to 3°. This enables a reduction in the number of fittings and in the amount of earthwork and blasting work. Even in inhospitable mountain conditions, the excavated material can be used to refill the pipe trench in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way.

A further advantage that supports flexibility and thus rapid installation is the ability to shorten the pipes on site if necessary.

The ALPINAL system offers a high degree of flexibility in the planning phase and during implementation thanks to its diversity and simplicity. The system components are available from DN 80 PFA 100 to DN 300 PFA 100, through DN 400 PFA 85 to DN 500 PFA 75.
