MessyWeekend Announces Continuation Of Partnership With Two-time British Winter Olympian Jamie Nicholls

MessyWeekend is thrilled to announce the continuation of its partnership with professional snowboarder and two-time British Winter Olympian Jamie Nicholls, with the launch of a second season of his personalized signature goggles.

Jamie Nicholls is a professional snowboarder and 2 x Winter Olympian from Queensbury in Yorkshire. Jamie has travelled all around the world competing in some of the biggest snowboard events and slopestyle snowboard competitions, including X-Games, Tokyo Burton Rail days and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, where he came 6th in the finals. Jamie started snowboarding at the age of 7 at Halifax Dry-Slope and has been riding ever since! Becoming a professional snowboarder at the age of 15, he has been lucky enough to travel the world creating some crazy snowboard films and competing for Team GB.

Building on the success of the first season, this new release showcases a new design and high-quality features to elevate performance and style for snowboarders and winter sports enthusiasts alike.

In this latest collection, Jamie has worked closely with MessyWeekend to develop a bold new design. The OTG (over the glasses) shape goggles feature a black and white colour frame with an opposite contrasting strap never-before seen on a pair of snow goggles. Boasting full UV400 protection, anti-fog and scratch capabilities, the goggles contain 10 magnets so that lenses are secure but can also be swapped out depending on weather conditions. The XE2 silver colourway comes with a yellow overcast lens, while the XEp blue is photocromic, adapting to changing light. With the full view lens ability you get maximum vision when riding and hitting those jumps. Jamie’s signature and a Yorkshire rose, a tribute to Jamie’s home, are finishing touches on the silicone lined anti-slip strap.

Reflecting on the second season, Jamie shared, “For this release, I wanted to expand on the original design with subtle tweaks. The monochrome design is bold and exciting —and the Yorkshire rose on the strap still holds a special place as a tribute to where I’m from. Collaborating with MessyWeekend again has given me the opportunity to enhance the design and functionality of the goggles. It’s an amazing feeling to work with a team that listens to my ideas and values my input.”

The exclusive limited edition run comes with a signature hard box, pouch and stickers. The XE2 option includes a yellow overcast interchangeable lens to make sure you are fully set for the slopes. In addition, the brand are re-releasing Jamie’s season 1 goggles with the camo design after the overwhelming response.

“Working with Jamie on the second season has been incredibly rewarding. His passion, experience, and attention to detail have shaped every aspect of these goggles. This collection is a fusion of Jamie’s personal style and our cutting-edge XE2 and XEp lens technology, which enhances vision and performance in any condition. Together, we’re delivering a product that celebrates Jamie’s heritage and brings his vision to life” says Marc Østerskov, Founder & CEO of MessyWeekend
