Sugar Bowl has big plans to celebrate Opening Weekend and officially kick off the 2024/25 season. The festivities start Friday morning at Jerome Hill Express with a live DJ set and a special performance by the Sierra Alpenhorns. Be one of the lucky first four people in line for first chair to score exclusive custom First Chair T-shirts! At 8:45am join Sugar Bowl CEO Bridget Legnavsky and the Executive Team for a celebratory champagne toast at the lift line to mark the start of an exciting new season.
Throughout the weekend, DJs from Gold Bloc Artist Collective will keep the energy high with performances on the Main Lodge sundeck, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Available services include the Ticket Office, Judah Café, Sierra Vista Bar, rentals, retail, and Snowsports School lessons. First time skiers and riders can take advantage of a $99 Learn to Ski and Ride Package that includes a lift ticket, lesson and rental. Guests should park at the Main Lodge for convenient access to lifts and amenities.
The Sugar Bowl snowmakers are actively supplementing recent snowfall with man made snow to build the base to offer high-quality skiing and riding from day one. White Pine and Jerome Hill Express are planned to open conditions permitting. More details will be announced this week.
