TT-Hiking Cup Fugen: Hiking Together At Spieljoch
Hikers from near and far will meet at Spieljoch on Sunday, June 16th: The 4th TT Hiking Cup 2024 attracts athletes to Fügen. Two routes with different levels of difficulty await hikers of all levels.
Fügen, May 21, 2024 - Participants of the TT hiking cup Fügen will meet on Sunday, June 16th, between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at the valley station of the Spieljochbahn. The stamp cards are handed out here and then the hiking enthusiasts take the 10-person gondola up the mountain: "The Spieljochbahn enables everyone in our TT hiking cup to climb comfortably - regardless of whether they are a leisurely hiker or an expert. Our two selected routes offer both families and... "Even experienced mountain enthusiasts have the best conditions for hikes with breathtaking views of the Zillertal Alps," says Manfred Pfister, managing director of the Fügen-Kaltenbach holiday region in the Zillertal. Both routes lead to special stamp and refreshment stations and end at the Mountain Loft restaurant - right at the mountain station: From 12:30 p.m. various music groups ensure a good atmosphere and participants can pick up the popular hiking badge.
Two different routes
The family route offers a leisurely hike of 2:30 hours over 4.9 kilometers. It starts directly at the top station of the Spieljochbahn and leads over the Knappensteig, the Onkeljoch and the Spieljoch back to the Mountain Loft. Experts, on the other hand, start their more demanding route at the middle station: This takes around 4:15 hours and is 8.9 kilometers long. The highlights are the Geolsalm, the Gartalm and also the Onkel and Spieljoch. At the festival at the mountain station everyone meets and celebrates together.
Extensive network of hiking trails
