Mountaincart Exhibits At Mountain Planet 2024
At Mountain Planet 2024 in Grenoble, attendees experienced the versatile and high-quality offerings of Mountaincart, engaging in personal exchanges with both the Mountaincart team and other rental operators. This year, as in the past, the offering was enthusiastically embraced over all three days of the trade show.
No fewer than 20 ski resorts in France alone, and over 150 alpine destinations worldwide, now rely on the well-proven crowd pleaser from the Upper Bavarian town of Bad Aibling.
In numerous discussions at the trade fair, it was reaffirmed why Mountaincart has been recommended within the industry from one cable car to another for many years. In addition to the tourism and economic success, bringing in thousands of additional visitors and generating up to €2 million in pure rental revenue per summer season per rental station, there are other concrete factors crucial for rental operators. These include the light weight of the Mountaincarts, at only about 20 kg, allowing for particularly easy handling, coupled with the devices' very long lifespan, often exceeding 15 years. Equally crucial for success are the continuous availability of carts and spare parts, as well as price stability over many years. This is ensured by high in-house production with a high degree of automation using robot-assisted manufacturing at the Mountaincart factory in Bad Aibling.
The new adjustable-size Mountaincart model also received great interest from booth visitors, allowing the guest or a staff member to adjust the cart's length to the respective height in seconds. Additional optional retrofit equipment enhances the Mountaincarts for various conditions, including winter use, enabling easy and safe uphill transportation with all common types of mountain lifts.
The Mountaincart team explained at the fair how a straightforward and risk-free path to owning a rental business could look. Mountaincarts can be extensively tested initially and then rented from the manufacturer for a season without obligation. The rental payments made up to that point are credited towards a later purchase. This offer was once again widely embraced at this year's trade show edition.
