The ÖSV squads for 2024/25 have been determined

A total of 373 athletes from eleven different divisions make up the ÖSV national squad for the coming World Cup winter.

The most athletes (100) come from alpine skiing, the fewest from grass skiing (10). The top category (national team) includes a total of 78 athletes. 44 future hopefuls appear in an ÖSV squad list for the first time in their careers.

“Our goal is to be positioned in all areas so that we can be successful there. When I look at the individual squad lists and the associated coaching teams, you can see that we have good conditions in all disciplines to be able to be at the forefront in the coming season - and that's exactly what it's all about," says Mario Stecher , who has been at the club since January 1. With Fabio Gstrein, Johannes Strolz, Katharina Huber, Katharina Liensberger, Ariane Rädler, Julia Scheib (Alpine skiing), Thomas Rettenegger (Nordic combined), Mika Vermeulen (cross-country skiing), Anna Gandler (biathlon), Dominik Burgstaller, Julian Lüftner (snowboarding) , Adam Kappacher, Tristan Takats (ski cross), Christof Hochenwarter (ski mountaineering) as well as Sebastian Posch, Tina Hetfleisch and Lara Teynor (grass skiing), 17 athletes managed to make their first jump or return to the national team.
