Priesteregg, a premium eco resort in the Austrian mountains, has opened 3 stunning Lake Chalets. Known as ‘Seehütten’, the Lake Chalets offer the perfect combination of mountain, forest and lake views.

Nestled in the Pinzgau region, yet under an hour’s drive from Salzburg airport, Priesteregg is a very impressive resort known for its warm hospitality in a stunning natural environment.

Priesteregg is a premium eco resort in the Pinzgau region. Opened in 2014 it is located at an altitude of 1,100 metres, with views of the Leogang Steinberg mountains in Salzburger Land. This luxury resort is a place for peace & privacy, where you can immerse yourself in nature. There are 18 chalets and villas, including 3 new stunning Lake Chalets. The spacious wellness area has a floating sky pool that is heated year-round, indoor pool, outdoor natural swimming pool, Swiss Pine Sauna, Smoke Sauna, sun terrace & treatment rooms. There are also 9 outdoor yoga platforms with glorious mountain views. Food is a highlight here - most products are homemade or purchased from nearby farms. And the happy cows of the Pinzgau farmers provide fresh milk and butter.

The 3 new Lake Chalets offer maximum privacy and a living experience second to none. Hidden from the world, they are an exquisite retreat dedicated to peace and quiet. Lake Chalets have exclusive access to the 120m long natural lake, and a private jetty from which to dive into the crystal-clear spring water. They have a private bay with a panoramic glass sauna, a hot tub, wood-heated riverside bathtub right on the jetty, and a relaxation terrace with cosy sun loungers from which to enjoy the grounding view of the forest and the monumental Leogang Mountains. 

You can use your own jetty to dive into the sunshine warm lakein summer or into the winter-fresh lake water after a sauna in the colder seasons. In your private bay with loungers and hot tub you can enjoy the grounding view of the forest and the monumental Leoganger Steinberge. In the wood-heated riverside bathtub right on the jetty, you can indulge in a warm bath under the stars. And in the panoramic glass sauna, your thoughts will get lost in the gentle waves of the riverside plants.

The subtle living ambience is expanded towards the lake with large glass fronts and additional rooms (plus 50 m²). An open living room with a designer kitchen island and dining table as well as a wellness bathroom with a free-standing bathtub are adjacent. The upper floor also has wonderful surprises in store: a bright, large glazed bedroom including a bathroom and a sheltered roof terrace with a romantic view of your small bay.

Each Lake Chalet sleeps up to 4 people, and has floor to ceiling glass windows which flood the rooms with natural light, highlighting the bespoke craftsmanship and stylish interiors. The open plan kitchen-living room has a designer stove and dining table, there’s a relaxation area that can be converted into a second bedroom, a bathroom and separate toilet, and upstairs there’s a bright, glazed bedroom with ensuite bathroom and high-tech shower.
