Panorama Opens New Mountain Coaster!
Panorama Mountain Resort will welcome riders onto the brand new Wild Rider Mountain Coaster today, as the popular family destination opens the first of two exciting new attractions launching this summer.
With wild twists and turns, and spectacular mountain views throughout the 1 km track, the mountain coaster is set to be a must-do attraction for thrill-seekers and families alike.
“We are incredibly excited to introduce our new mountain coaster to our guests,” said Steve Paccagnan, President & CEO of Panorama Mountain Resort. “It is an unforgettable ride! With our spectacular mountain backdrop, the coaster brings an exhilarating family-friendly experience to visitors looking for a unique way to enjoy the outdoors.”
The second of Panorama’s new summer attractions is scheduled to open soon. Featuring four levels of fun, the Timberline Traverse Aerial Ropes Tower stands 60 ft high and offers visitors the chance to test their skills across 50 obstacles and challenges suspended in mid-air.
“It’s about embracing the spirit of adventure. Both these attractions are compelling additions to our resort’s summer offerings and continue to enhance our mountain adventure park with activities from kids camps to the coaster, a high-flying ropes course, lift-accessed biking and so much more,” says Paccagnan.
The two attractions are a $3 million investment into Panorama’s program of attractions and continue the resort's commitment to enhancing the visitor experience with over $32 million in capital investments in recent years.
Panorama’s summer season runs from mid-May (weather permitting) to the start of September.
