The largest cat skiing operation in Colorado, Purgatory Snowcat Adventures offers 35,000 acres of guided backcountry terrain beyond the resort boundaries. Advanced to expert skiers and snowboarders can get a taste of the Colorado backcountry with experienced guides and all avalanche safety equipment is included. Guests can expect an average of 6-8 runs totaling 7,000 to 9,000 feet of vertical descent. Highly trained guides will assess the latest snow conditions and the skill levels of participants to select from three primary zones within the expansive 35,000-acre terrain area.
