Helicopters were unable to land directly at the scene, necessitating the use of ropes to extract the injured individuals. All four family members, including a father, son, daughter, and uncle, were airlifted to nearby hospitals.

One member of the family is reported to be in critical condition, undergoing treatment at Innsbruck Medical University Hospital. The remaining three, transported to Zams Hospital, are also receiving medical attention for their injuries.
