Melzer & Hopfner will accompany the reconstruction of the form BUGA garden festival cable car in Kappl!

After its successful use at the Federal Garden Show in Mannheim, the cable car is now making its way to new heights in the Austrian Alps.

The long-awaited modernization of the existing Diasbahn is gaining momentum with dismantling in Mannheim. The aging track, a heart of the Kappler ski area, is being renovated in order to increase its performance and maintain its attractiveness for winter sports enthusiasts.

At Melzer & Hopfner we are proud to be involved in the design of sustainable and efficient transport solutions. The role covers variant studies, cable car technical planning, structural engineering conception, tendering for cable car technology and coordination with authorities.
