Stio Expands Retail Footprint In Vail & Sun Valley
Stio, the mountain lifestyle brand based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is excited to announce two significant updates to its retail footprint for the Fall/Winter 2024-25 season. Later this year, the brand will open a new Mountain Studio® in Vail, Colorado, bringing its mountain-inspired apparel and outerwear to this iconic alpine destination. Additionally, Stio will strengthen its partnership with longtime wholesale partner, Sturtevants of Sun Valley, to offer an exclusive Stio shop-in-shop experience.
“Expanding our presence in Vail and Sun Valley—two legendary epicenters within the sport of skiing—is a huge milestone for our brand,” said Stephen Sullivan, Founder and CEO of Stio. “Both towns epitomize the spirit of mountain living and we look forward to connecting with these communities through local events, partnerships and more.”
Situated in the heart of Vail, Stio’s newest Mountain Studio will be located in the highly acclaimed Solaris Plaza at 141 East Meadow Drive, Suite 109. In this prime location, the brand will join a vibrant mix of high-end retailers and restaurants, with world-class skiing just steps from its front door. The store is expected to open just in time for the holiday season, and will be Stio’s twelfth storefront.
In addition to the brand’s newest Mountain Studio store, Stio will also be strengthening its relationship with longtime wholesale partner, Sturtevants of Sun Valley, with a unique, new concept. The exclusive shop-in-shop experience will open in the Sturtevants storefront located in the Limelight Hotel at 151 South Main Street in downtown Ketchum. The reimagined store will offer Sturtevants’ premier rental equipment and services to guests and locals alike along with an expansive collection of Stio apparel and outerwear similar to that of a Stio Mountain Studio.
“We’ve seen incredible success with Stio over the years. Being a Jackson-based brand and one that prides itself on truly living the mountain life, that’s something that has really resonated with our local community,” said Olin Glenne, owner of Sturtevants. “We’re excited to welcome guests into this newly redesigned space where they will find a much deeper assortment of Stio styles and a wide range of fresh colorways to outfit themselves from head to toe for the mountain.”
