New Dual Leadership For Board Of Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG

At the supervisory board meeting on November 22, the course was set for a change in the management board of Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG. Benjamin Rogl, previously authorized officer and head of administration and finance, will move to Andreas Innerhofer's side and support the CEO from January 1, 2025. With the new dual leadership and the associated division of tasks, the "Skigastein 2030" strategy is to be consistently pursued and implemented.

The appointment of Andreas Innerhofer to the board two and a half years ago marked the beginning of a generational change at the Gasteiner Bergbahnen, which is now being continued with Benjamin Rogl. Chairman of the Supervisory Board Franz Gasselsberger believes the company is well prepared for the future: "With the new dual board members - both born in 1989 - a new generation is at the top of the management team, which is implementing our visions with a lot of fresh energy. Our mission is to offer the guests of the Gasteiner Bergbahnen unique mountain experiences all year round and to set innovative accents as a leading company in the region. With Andreas Innerhofer and Benjamin Rogl, we are very broadly and competently positioned for this."

Benjamin Rogl has a master's degree in accounting and controlling as well as controlling experience. He has been working for the company since 2012, initially in controlling and as an assistant to the management, later as head of administration and since 2022 with power of attorney.

Even in his position as authorized officer, the Gastein native was responsible for administration, pricing & ticketing, and finance & controlling. "Our goal is to continue to invest heavily while maintaining the company's financial stability. Our investments focus particularly on product development and snow reliability. Another focus in the coming years will be on employer branding," says Benjamin Rogl, outlining his business plans.

Andreas Innerhofer has been on the board of Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG since July 1, 2022, and from October 1, 2023 he was the sole CEO of the cable car company. The graduate mechatronics engineer and cable car technician sees great potential in the return to the proven dual leadership: "We complement each other perfectly in our business, technical and communication focuses. The board is completed again with the arrival of Benjamin Rogl. I really appreciate the stability and quality assurance of a dual leadership, as I already experienced when I joined the company. With combined forces, we are now moving into the future."

In his role as CEO, Andreas Innerhofer will continue to be primarily responsible for representing Gasteiner Bergbahnen AG in public and on various committees, for the topic of sustainability and for stakeholder communication. Benjamin Rogl will be responsible for finance, human resources and digitalization. At the division manager level, the two board members will be supported by a competent team of six in the areas of cable cars, slopes and marketing.
