Riders Hotel is also home to the only fully vegan-vegetarian restaurant in the whole resort. The chefs at Riders Restaurant use regional produce to create new three and five-course menus each week to match the season. Riders’ green roof is the first to trial cutting-edge vertical solar panels that produce 25,000 kWh in solar energy each year, and even produce energy when snow lies on the roof. The hotel is covered by 100% renewable energy, 10% of which is obtained by its solar panels, whereas the other 90% is from renewable energy from Switzerland. Riders also only uses sustainable products, whether it be ecological detergents, locally sourced vegetarian cuisine or even the wine on offer.

One of the largest hotels in LAAX, the rocksresort, is regularly named one of Switzerland’s best hotels for families. Located right next to the LAAX gondola station, this ski-in ski-out hotel comprised of 248 apartments, offers easy access to the mountains (perfect for hiking, mountain biking, or snowsports), and is home to six bars, eight restaurants, and nine stores in the immediate vicinity.
