Mountain Bike Action At Purgatory This Weekend
This weekend at Purgatory Resort, the Downhill Rockies Finals, and Trail Party Enduro come together for two days of action-packed mountain bike racing. Purgatory Resort's deep-rooted biking legacy, including hosting the first-ever World Mountain Bike Championships World Cup in 1990, makes this an event not to be missed.

Race Highlights:
Saturday, September 9: Trail Party Enduro Race
Unlike any other race format, the Trail Party Enduro allows competitors to tackle segments in any order. Racers are free to ride the segments as many times as they want, with only the top laps counting towards the final standings. This format puts a rider's skill, race strategy, and endurance to the test.
Sunday, September 10: Downhill Rockies - Finals!
As the concluding event of the renowned Downhill Rockies series, spectators can expect high-octane downhill and cross-country mountain bike racing as elite riders send it down Purgatory’s podium-quality terrain.
The weekend will feature various vantage points for spectators to capture the action, food and beverage stalls, and an array of biking merchandise for enthusiasts. Purgatory's Bike Park offers lift-served mountain biking terrain for enthusiasts of all abilities and serves as the gateway to over 400 miles of high alpine singletrack and backcountry trails in Colorado's famed San Juan Mountains.
