Bartholet Builds Gondola In Uzbekistan
Picturesque landscapes, ancient places of pilgrimage, purest mountain air and a unique state spa - all this is Zaamin. In Uzbek Zomin - an urban settlement in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan. Here, in the middle of the Uzbek National Park, a new resort and ski area will be built in the near future.
The new resort located at about 2500 m.a.s.l., should of course be easily accessible for residents and tourists. Bartholet for the first time has the opportunity to build a gondola lift there in the coming months, connecting the valley station with the ski area and the resort.
Bartholet's latest achievement combines technical innovation with contemporary comfort - all in the characteristic "Design by Porsche Design Studio". Bartholet is proud to present its first facility in Uzbekistan.
The cable car covers an altitude difference of 530 meters and a route length of 2,102 meters, with a total capacity of 36 gondolas that can transport up to 1,200 people per hour.
The comfortable 8-seater gondola lift in the "Design by Porsche Design Studio" can transport a total of up to 1200 people per hour to an altitude of 2500 meters.
In the resort area, stations for electric vehicles with a capacity of at least 11 kW, helicopter grounds, extreme sports facilities, including ziplines, selfie zones, points of sale of souvenirs and food products will be created.
It is expected that the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan will provide a loan in the amount of US$40 million to create the necessary infrastructure, including a guest information center, water and electricity supply systems, etc.
The resort is located in the Zааmin district of Djizak region, on the territory of Zaamin National Nature Park, the total area of which is 26840 hectares and includes three hotels with more than 300 rooms of different categories.
