Andermatt Apprentices Start Training

Three new apprentices recently started their training as cable car mechatronics technician EFZ, businesswoman EFZ and restaurant specialist EFZ. We wish everyone a good start, lots of success and, above all, lots of fun in their daily work.

As part of the sustainability goal, the Andermatt Swiss Alps Group and Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG have committed to increasing the number of apprenticeships and internships or positions for people with special needs (labor market integration) to five percent by 2030.

With 16 apprentices and 20 interns, the figure was 3.8 percent at the end of 2022. Four of them successfully completed their apprenticeships as restaurant managers, chefs and hotel managers this summer.

Andermatt Swiss Alps AG is proud that we train apprentices in the areas of gastronomy, hotels, mountain railways and IT. For the very first time, Andermatt Swiss Alps AG is also offering a KV apprenticeship.
