Silvaplana Kicks Off Winter With Spectacular Freestyle Event. Registration Opens For Silvaplana Rocks The Rail
The «Silvaplana Winter Opening» on November 25th and 26th is getting closer and preparations are in full swing. A colorful, free program is offered: Freestylers on one and two boards show their crazy tricks through the rows of houses in the «Silvaplana Rocks The Rail» street contest, kids have the chance to join freestyle lessons and Naomi Lareine will wow the audience with her music. Spectators can expect this and much more at the end of the month.
- FREESTYLE ACTION IN THE STREETS – Registration is now open for all those who want to tackle the specially constructed rails and obstacles along the Julierpass street. Absolutely new territory, as it’s not every day that you see snowboarders and freeskiers unpacking their tricks on the streets in the middle of the village center. A spectacular backdrop that will not only delight the riders. Register now to take part in the first edition together with Nicolas Huber, Jeremy Denda (snowboard), Nicola Bolinger, Nils & Fadri Rhyner (freeski) and many more.
- START THEM YOUNG – Also the little ones are taken care of. In the Snow Kids Village in the center of Silvaplana, young shredders have the chance to take their first steps on the board with FRESK Freestyle Academy. Free freestyle lessons are also offered on the mountain.
- CORVATSCH PARK – FREESTYLER’S PLAYGROUND – On the weekend of the Silvaplana Winter Opening, Corvatsch Park also starts in the new winter season with the «Progression Days». A magnet for many of the world’s best freestylers. In 2025, many of them return to Engadin for the Snowboard, Freestyle & Freeski World Championships 2025.
