Leitner Telfs Location Becomes Member Of The Climate Alliance Network

Through membership in the climate alliance's global network, the companies LEITNER, PRINOTH, DEMACLENKO and LEITWIND join a group of over 100 climate alliance companies in Tyrol and a total of 1,300 throughout Austria. This partnership is a clear expression of the HTI Group's comprehensive sustainability philosophy.

“THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY”

The Climate Alliance is a global network that communities, companies and educational institutions can join to make their contribution to creating a climate-just world. Under the motto "Think globally, act locally", the Tyrol Climate Alliance supports both local climate protection projects and partner organizations in South America. The common goals are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the Amazon rainforest.

Before the companies joined the Climate Alliance Tyrol, they had to go through a comprehensive climate check.

The status quo was assessed in the following areas:

• energy
• mobility
• Waste
• procurement
• Catering
• Water
• Floor
• communication

In collaboration with the experts from the Tyrol Climate Alliance, sustainability goals were then defined for the coming years in order to further strengthen internal efforts towards sustainable measures.
