Kitzsteinhorn Alpincenter Opens

After about five months of construction, the Kitzsteinhorn team was able to celebrate the reopening of our Alpine Center together. The restaurant, information service, ski and boot depot, sports shop with ski service and rental as well as SOS slope service have been offering comprehensive services here for 50 years.

The facade and restaurant areas now reflect the modern Alpine zeitgeist. There have also been upgrades in terms of sustainability: 117 PV modules on the three newly designed façade areas are now generating clean electricity. We have focused on #regionality both with our construction partners and with the selected building materials: the stone elements, for example, were made from Rauris natural stone. The new Skyline Bar and the new Stüberl show how beautiful the interplay of old wood, glass and a playful lighting concept can be.
