Hauser Kaibling Investing In Energy Efficient TechnoAlpin Snow Guns
By purchasing new energy-efficient snow guns, Hauser Kaibling is once again demonstrating its commitment to sustainability. A total of 45 snow cannons will be replaced by more modern and energy-efficient models (TT9 from TechnoAlpin).
The company TechnoAlpin explains: “We are constantly working on making the snow guns even more efficient, especially in difficult temperature conditions. In addition to a significant reduction in energy requirements, which is between 10 and 15% depending on the snow temperature, further progress has been made towards more sustainable operation. For example, the components of the various models have been standardized as much as possible in order to optimize warehousing and logistics. The materials used are more sustainable and operational and occupational safety has been increased. An investment in the latest generation of snow guns is, in many ways, an investment in the sustainable development of the ski area.”
"In the summer we focus on environmentally friendly actions by using sheep to graze the slopes, and for the winter we invest in sustainable technology - so no matter what time of year, we try to be as energy efficient as possible within the scope of our possibilities," says Hauser Kaibling Managing Director, Klaus Hofstätter.
