E3/DC Signs As Partner Of German Alpine Ski Team
E3/DC is the official team partner of the German Ski Association. E3/DC is a Hager Group brand and a leading provider of solar power storage systems and intelligent charging technology for e-mobility. The focus of the new partnership is alpine skiing: From now on, the national alpine skiing teams will start the competitions with new energy and will present the E3/DC brand on their clothing.
The collaboration between the DSV and E3/DC was agreed for an initial three World Cup winters up to and including 2026. In addition to the team partnership with the national alpine ski team, E3/DC also becomes a partner of the “DSV E3/DC junior team”.
At the start of the World Cup on October 28th in Sölden, Austria, E3/DC will be present for the first time as the new official team partner on the German Ski Association's competition and thermal clothing.
“We are pleased that we were able to find a new partner for the DSV in E3/DC,” says Walter Vogel, Head of Marketing at the German Ski Association. "As a dynamic, goal-oriented company, the cooperation fits perfectly with the ideas of the DSV teams. Particularly noteworthy is the commitment of the alpine junior team. This means that the support reaches exactly where it is needed most."
As an innovation-oriented company, E3/DC will, in addition to top-class sport, also promote outstanding young talent in the alpine disciplines, explains E3/D managing director Dr. Andreas Piepenbrink: "As in our core business, we also want to actively support current and future top performers in sport on their path to success. We see parallels to ours in the challenges of alpine skiing - speed and precision, motivation and concentration, versatility and hard work Work on the technology of the decentralized energy transition."
And important markets and sales regions for E3/DC products also fit well with skiing: E3/DC is particularly successful in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a strong partner network. As a partner of the DSV, E3/DC wants to strengthen the brand's presence among the sports-loving public - but at the same time also give the company's specialist partners the opportunity to experience top Alpine athletes live.
“We are starting the new 2023/2024 season highly motivated,” says sports director Wolfgang Maier shortly before the start of the season. “The preparations for an exciting and promising sports winter went according to plan and our ski aces, such as the reigning world champion Alexander Schmid, Lena Dürr, who won bronze at the World Cup slalom last season, and the powerful women's speed team around Kira Weidle, are in the starting blocks. World Cup winner Linus Straßer is considered a hot candidate for the discipline ranking in the slalom and will tackle the slopes with the E3/DC logo. We can be particularly excited about the rough diamond Emma Aicher, who comes from the junior team."
A special highlight in the new season are the home World Cups in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in January and February 2024. Here E3/DC and the DSV are planning joint events related to the World Cup events.
