"After a good and thorough recruitment process, we are delighted that Arne Baumann will be our new general secretary. With his background and experience, we are confident that Arne is the right person to lead and develop the organization further. Skiing has a unique position in Norwegian society, and together with volunteers, shop stewards and employees across the country, we will do what we can to ensure good framework conditions in the future as well. Arne will play a key role in this work", said ski fed president Tove Moe Dyrhaug.
rne Baumann added "I approach this job with great motivation, humility and enthusiasm. I look forward to being part of and developing the Ski Association further in a demanding time. The world and also the sport of skiing face many challenges, but at the same time a lot of positive things are happening, both broadly and at the top. In the Ski Association's organization there is a high level of expertise in the field of breadth, recruitment and top sport, and I want to contribute to this organization becoming even stronger in the years to come, "
