The Board of Directors of Säntis-Schwebebahn AG has passed new personnel regulations as part of the 2023 salary measures. Thanks to an excellent annual result, investments can be made in the existing staff and the shortage of skilled workers can be countered.

With around 200 employees, Säntis-Schwebebahn AG covers a wide range of professions, from the hotel and catering trade to railway technology and infrastructure maintenance. In many areas, the search for personnel is currently difficult. That is why Säntis-Schwebebahn AG relies on three pillars in the human resources area: appreciation for the existing staff, attractive apprenticeship offers and unique general conditions for job seekers. With the new personnel regulations, the basis for this has now been created and the most modern, flexible employment conditions enable the right solution for all employees.

The new personnel regulations offer a choice of two annual working time models: All employees can choose between 41.5 hours a week with 5 weeks vacation or 43.5 hours a week with 6 weeks vacation. The holiday credits are thus well above the industry average. In addition, you can choose between 4 and 5 working days per week in various areas, which is very valuable for employees with time-consuming hobbies. Part-time and job-sharing models are firmly established in the company. Due to the somewhat remote location of the Säntis-Schwebebahn AG, all employees are now paid an additional CHF 1,200 per year and employees benefit from up to CHF 1,000 in Reka money, which can be obtained at a 20% discount . Meals are included as a lump sum in the employment contract, This means that the employees use the entire range of gastronomy during working hours.
