Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott North Conway Celebrates Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott North Conway welcomed local dignitaries to help celebrate the hotel’s grand opening on Tuesday, May 23rd. The celebration included tours of the property, a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, free raffle giveaways, with drinks and snacks. The hotel is owned by Kearsarge Hospitality, LLC and managed by Lafrance Hospitality, headquartered in Westport, MA.
In attendance were local Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce members, city officials, Mt. Washington Valley President Rob Clark, Chairman of The Fairbank Group Brian Fairbank, and President & General Manager of Cranmore Mountain Resort Ben Wilcox along with hotel owners Richard Lafrance, Chairman of Lafrance Hospitality and Tim Burkhardt, Vice President of Lodging and Development, CHA of Lafrance Hospitality. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony a donation was presented to Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation and received by Erik Chandler, President of Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation.
Before the event concluded there were several free raffle prizes given away. Prizes included 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, a complimentary night’s stay at Lafrance Hospitality’s Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Plymouth, MA, and another complimentary night at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Westport, MA also owned by Lafrance Hospitality.
