AJ Ginnis Visits Fischer Headquarter In Ried
Slalom star AJ Ginnis visited the Fischer Skis headquarters in Ried for a media day. Planning for the upcoming season, AJ worked with the racing team around Voglreiter Siegi and talked about the product development for the next seasons. In addition to some video and photo shoots for the next season, the friendly Greek also answered some questions for the social media community. AJ gave us exclusive insights into his life as a professional athlete and what he does besides training on skis and in the gym.
The Greek has a definite goal in his mind. "Together with my team, my plan is to ski as fast as possible to build on last season," he says.
His serviceman and his coach are also his best buddies, which means that there is great atmosphere within the team.
The 28-year-old learned to ski at the age of two in Greece, and then moved to Austria where he started racing at the age of 12. He then moved to the USA and competed in his first FIS and World Cup races, and most recently back to Greece, where the popular skier really feels home. He wants to win a World Cup race for this country in particular.
True to the World Championship slalom silver medalist´s motto: "O tolmon Nika!" ("Who dares, wins!") he together with Fischer is also preparing for the next season!
AJ is an inspiration for many young racers with his story and Fischer is proud to be a part of it.
