PillerseeTal: Into Nature From Early Morning To Late At Night

First Line, Last Line, a journey through time and a look behind the scenes: The Winter Highlights, the joint project of Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn, the PillerseeTal Tourist Office and the municipality of Fieberbrunn, are starting the sixth edition with innovative ideas. It's nature from dawn to dusk.

The First Line concept – that is, making the first turn onto the freshly groomed piste before anyone else, including an impressive sunrise and breakfast on the mountain with regional specialties – was very popular last year. Now the offer is being expanded by an almost logical consequence: In the 2022/23 winter season, the Last Line can also be enjoyed in Fieberbrunn on four selected dates. The guided tour for a maximum of 50 people starts at the valley station and the last ascent of the day takes you up to the Reckmoos mountain station, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the local mountains in the evening. After the descent into the Hörndlingergraben, a casual hut evening with a three-course menu and live music awaits in the Pulvermacher Almhütte. The well-known local trio “Brennholz” will start on January 6th, on February 10th the “Freddy Pfister Band” will heat up the heat, on February 17th it will be hearty with the “Tegernseer Hüttenmusi” and the grand finale is still waiting on March 3rd a real musical surprise highlight.

As with the First Line, the evening counterpart also focuses on regionality and local products. The Last Line package is rounded off by a taxi transfer that takes locals and guests back to the village after the unique experience.

Second Edition for the First Line

Meanwhile, the First Line is entering the second round this winter: Every Wednesday, from December 28th, skiing fun starts at the Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn for an exclusive group of a maximum of 30 people at 7:30 a.m. Accompanied by local guides, the first turns can be made on the freshly groomed slopes . And while the actual skiing starts in the valley, the participants are already enjoying a regional breakfast in the Pulvermacher Almhütte.

Behind the scenes

With "Behind the Scenes" a new item on the program awaits the "Science Busters" among the locals and guests. Specialists from the mountain railway team take a tour of the snow -making technology, where you can find out everything about snow production, the reservoir and co . can be experienced. The guided tour through the snow groomer garage also includes large equipment. Such deep insights into the processes and technologies of a modern mountain railway have never existed in Fieberbrunn before.
