Gordini Introduces Forge Intelligent Heated Gloves For FW23/24
Gordini introduces the Forge heated gloves with clim8 technology for FW 2023/24.
Clim8 heat technology monitors and warms the hands like a thermostat, automatically turning the heat on and off according to the user’s needs and body temperature.
The brand will also expand its Thindown glove collection with three styles in its Front Line backcountry collection and update existing styles with bluesign-approved materials.
Forge Intelligently Heated Gloves use AI-based, intelligent heating that thermoregulates in real time according to a user’s profile, activity and temperature. When the gloves are programmed using a paired smartphone app, the heating system reads the user’s body temperature and maintains a steady and comfortable level of warmth. The gloves power on and off as needed, preserving battery life and maximizing comfort.
Expanding its Thindown Gloves and Mitts, the Windward features Thindown plus Sorona insulation, with flexibility, warmth and weather protection. The exterior comes with a bluesign-approved shell, water-resistant Clutch synthetic leather palm, fingers and trim, while the interior features a Gore-Tex insert. Thindown plus Sorona insulation fabric, moisture-wicking lining and gauntlet cuff complete the features.
The women’s-specific Ridgeline Series, available in glove and mitt styles, delivers a sculpted, high-dexterity, short cuff, and low-profile fit. The water-resistant Clutch synthetic leather shell, palm, fingers, and trim are waterproof, windproof and breathable Gore-Tex insert. The Thindown plus Sorona insulation and bluesign-approved wicking fabric lining ensure warm, dry hands, while the Neoprene cuff with hook and loop closure keeps gloves secure. A safety leash keeps gloves at hand.
New styles in the brand’s Front Line Series, developed with input from Gordini Team Athlete and backcountry splitboarder Rafael Pease, are made with 100 percent bluesign-approved materials. The series is a mix-and-match backcountry kit that leverages performance layering based on the users’ needs and climate. The system adapts to changing conditions and transitions in the backcountry with premium fabrics, durable construction, and minimal seams.
The new Front Line Midi Glove and Mitt and Front Line Overmitt offer more layering options for high-output activities. The Front Line Midi can be worn as a mid-layer or stand-alone breathable, insulated glove. For wet weather conditions, the Front Line Overmittkeeps users dry with waterproof three-layer taped seam fabric, long gauntlet cuff and drawcord closure. Front Line gloves feature a minimal seam design to reduce areas of wear and tear, PrimaLoft Gold insulation, moisture-wicking linings, and Schoeller Keprotec on the palm and finger wrap using Kevlar fibers for durability and grip.
Gordini’s Stomp collection was revamped for the 2023 season with bluesign-approved shell fabric, textured palms and fingers for enhanced grip, breathable, waterproof, and windproof AquaBloc insert, Megaloft insulation, longer gauntlet cuff, zippered hand warmer pocket, nose wipe, and leash
