Free Bus Ticket For Skiers At The Glungezer
In order to relieve traffic and the environment, the Glungezerbahn is relying on sustainable travel by public transport this winter season. Skiers and tobogganers can take bus line 4134 directly to the valley station of the Glungezerbahn. The price of the bus ticket will then be refunded at the Glungezerbahn cash desk. In order to be able to travel free of charge on the return journey, this ticket must also be presented at the cash desk and should therefore ideally be purchased with the outward journey.
The aim of the Glungezerbahn is to relieve the community of Tulfes and also to improve the parking situation at the Glungezer. Since the bus line runs twice an hour to the Glungezerbahn valley station and stops just a few meters from the gondola entrance, this is a practical and inexpensive alternative to traveling by car.

Ideally groomed slopes on the Glungezer
Tulfer's local mountain is one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the country - with breathtaking views of the opposite Karwendel massif and far into the Inn Valley. The pleasantly clear ski area on the Glungezer with a total of 23 kilometers of pistes is particularly popular with pleasure skiers, ski tourers and families with children. The ski depot is also practical, where you can store your equipment and always have it on site.
Little snow foxes learn their first turns in the lovingly designed children's area on easy slopes, while advanced skiers prefer the more demanding routes in the upper area of the ski area. The "Tulfein Express" takes not only skiers, but also tobogganers in 6 minutes from the Halsmarter middle station to the Tulfein mountain station for snow-sure fun.
Touring evenings are also back this winter: every Tuesday and Thursday, the Glungezerbahn runs to the middle station until 10:15 p.m.
