Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschonau Celebrates Birthday Party
For its 10th birthday, the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau received a new landmark and chairlift, the "Top of Alpbachtal", which has now been ceremoniously inaugurated.
Alpbachtal/Wildschönau - With the merger of the two ski areas ten years ago, the Alpbachtal and the Wildschönau started into a common future. For eleven years we fought for the connecting lift, which today leads from Inneralpbach to the Schatzberg. With success. Under the name "Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau", the new ski area grew from 55 to 113 kilometers of slopes with a total of 45 lifts.
For its milestone birthday, the Ski Juwel received a new 6-seater chairlift and a new landmark with the "Top of Alpbachtal" observation tower. The newly built lift and new mountain station offer unique views from the highest point in the ski area. A nice birthday gift for the ski area. And that was duly celebrated at the weekend.
Ski guests went in search of jewels and were able to win great prizes such as day ski passes and even a ski holiday. The mascots Lauser and Juppi welcomed the youngest ski guests and created a relaxed atmosphere. There was also a fun children's program in the new dwarf land at the middle station of the Schatzbergbahn. The Kundler Guggamusig musicians were on the move throughout the ski area and played heartily. The bands, initiators and guests of honor from the Wildschönau and the Alpbachtal met for the colorful birthday party in the Gipfö Hit on the Schatzberg. The illustrious crew of Chaos waiters made for a lot of laughs while you listened to the history of the connecting railway over the finest food.
